Po-Boy Express in Baton Rouge

Food was excellent. Inside was a tad dirty but that could be because we visited after a lunch crowd. Tea was sweet and great as well! Will defintely visit again if in the area. Service was great and employees were friendly.

The food was really good. It was pretty busy when I went late in the evening so it took a while but the staff was very friendly about it. I recommend the ny cheesesteak & the crawfish pies. I wouldn't get the onion rings again just because they were more like onion strings & I prefer them thicker. The sauce that came with it was good though

Huge sandwiches, good fries, good onion rings, good fried jalapeno slices. Everything was good.

Never ever disappoint me.... You can go in there blind folded or with your eyes close pick anything on the menu it's guaranteed. Taste of perfection the food in there is absolutely delicuous I can't put it no other way

Oh my goodness!!! This place is stuff your face good. Tons of delicious food for exceptional prices. Favorites are the ham & swiss, shrimp, and number #16. Drive thru window makes it super convenient to get your fix.

Food is always delicious and fresh. I love the seafood po-boys.

Although the drive up and restaurant looks humble, they do have awesome poboys. The bread is nice and soft, not overly thick. They pile on the 🍤 or other seafood of choice. Ask for it dressed-- with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Yum!!

My daughter, her boyfriend and I stopped here during a trip to Baton Rouge. I questioned about their frying methods. To my surprise, they fry the sides separately from the seafood. I ordered a roast beef poboy and fries. Both were exceptional. I love that they serve the au jus separately..that way you don't have To get dirty. ;) Will definitely return. If you have nut allergies. No peanut oil here!

The best thing I’ve had in my trip to Baton Rouge! I loved their fried Okra, fried mushrooms, and stuffed jalapeños! I got the shrimp philly cheese.. and it was so good. Bread is fresh and soft.. shrimps taste so good and tasteful! I would totally recommend that you make a stop here if you’re around. Staff is super nice and fast!

This place is great for a quick poboy, with a variety of different options available. Have not had a bad one yet. The regular is a good sized poboy and more than filling. The super can easily be made into two meals, especially if you add a side of fries.

I always stop in Baton Rouge for this place. It's basically a fast food Po Boy but is pretty close to gourmet.

Good food for the price. I wasn't a fan of the fries, but we went for the po boys. Catfish was good, but I regret not trying the special-- soft shell crab. Next time!

The food was good and the staff was friendly. I admit they convinced me to buy an up sale of fried mushrooms which I did not regret. The drive-in is very awkward though with the microphone speaker and Order board on one side of the parking lot and the pickup window across the parking lot

This location off of Perkins rd. did a good job with our sandwiches.

Great food, friendly and warm staff. You shouldnt drive through Louisiana without eating a Po' boy.

Long wait, but the food is pretty good. Needs to be more consistent with their products.

Sandwiches are good but it is not a New Orleans Po Boy and the french bread is not traditional N O french.

We ordered the shrimp sandwich and it was delicious, the shrimps were tender and crispy and the regular portion was fair for the price we paid. Wait was longer than expected but glad we had a chance to try it.

I give three stars because it was $20 for one large combo that's too expensive for that and they need to do some repairs to the outside of the building it's in despair

Hot, juicy and loaded with meat, onions and the spiciest jalapenos I have enjoyed in some time. Also, it was less than a 5 minute wait at the window.

Why do people pay this much for a meal? A plate of about 30 fried shrimp and french fries was $18. You can literally buy the ingredients and cook this yourself in 10 minutes for under $5, plus you have the peace of mind knowing your meal wasn't prepped by a stranger who took a dump beforehand without washing and used expired ingredients and didn't bother to peal or de-intestine the shrimp. Nothing personal about this place, people are just stupid in general spending 4 times more than necessary on a meal with nowhere near the care or cleanliness you'd put into it yourself.

What's visiting from out of town came exactly at closing time and me and my family were still allowed to order!!! The manager was great gave us a detailed overview of the menu and what to order. We had Shrimp Po Boys and homemade onion rings try this when you can

I've been coming to this location for years but it seems like everythings been a little better recently. The employees are always friendly which wasn't always the case previous years, and the food is always hot and so good. The manager was working the register and she was very polite and professional. It always takes me forever to make up my mind but I didn't feel rushed or like I was a burden. If you stop by I recommend the roast beef with their amazing gravy.

I have visited all of this chain in this area, multiple times over at least 15 years. The service can be "ify" at times. Food is ALWAYS delicious, and consistent though!

Before I begin, they are DRIVE THRU ONLY right now so no takeout unless you're in a car. They were very busy, and for good reason. The staff was happy & friendly and made the food quickly. I got a shrimp po boy and breaded mushrooms. SO DELICIOUS! The mushrooms were fantastic and the shrimp sandwich was awesome. Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. My only complaint would be that the sandwich needs more shrimp! LOL. It was all wonderful, tho and I highly recommend eating here.
